How to find a good psychologist?

Psychotherapy produces effective and therapeutic changes as long as it is performed by a qualified professional. This means that you should be treated by a psychologist (the title will be displayed in the office), specialized in health psychology or a clinician (they must have the title displayed), registered, in a center authorized by Health (they will have a NICA number displayed) and it is It is recommended that you have certification of being specialized in psychotherapy, such as EFPA/COP certification (since this qualification is supported by the Official College of Psychologists, we consider it to be the most appropriate). In turn, in the first session you must be given the informed consent for psychotherapy, which you should read and subsequently sign if you agree to start a process.

If any of this is not present or your psychologist refuses to show you any qualifications or it is better that you go to another professional.
